ARLHS LEM FAQ's

1. How long will the motorized coolers hold a charge?
Our LEM Scooters will hold a charge for an avg of 3-6 hours.

2. How large is the unit?
Approximately 28 inches long x 17 inches wide x 20 inches deep. Originally intended as a cooler, it is insulated and will protect your gear.

3. What is maximum weight a LEM can handle?
Technically rated at 300 lbs however we have seen them handle upwards of 350 lbs. The 500-watt model has more torque and handles more.

4. Is there a warranty?
Yes, there is a 4-month warranty through the manufacturer, Cruzin Cooler.

5. Can I drive the ARLHS LEM offroad and through rough terrain like an ATV?
Not really recommended for offroad applications, although according to the manufacturer an all-terrain model is in the works. Basically, it can go anywhere a scooter or an electric wheelchair can go.

6. Is riding the LEM on the street legal?
Please consult with your local and state laws, which vary from state to state and even from town to town. Generally, the electric models have an easier time and are usually exempt under the handicap or power electric wheelchair laws, but check your local ordinances to be sure.

9. Is there much assembly required?
No, it takes only about 5 minutes to assemble.

10. Where can they be shipped?
Anywhere in US and via UPS, however no PO Boxes.

11. What is the difference between 300-watt and 500-watt models?
The 500-watt models have more torque and can "unofficially" pull the optional accessory trailers with up to 600 lbs. The 300-watts are good for under 200lb riders on flat paved surfaces.

12. Can I get it without the ARLHS logo on the side?
Yes, in fact that's the way it is supplied. You could put your call letters or your club's insignia on the side if you wish.

13. What about accessories?
Options are a seat with backrest (approx $40) as well as the trailers (about $150 each), a cover, and a key lock.
