N1DT Receives Award
A Unique Award for his Activation Activities
As a Cape Crusader
In recognition of his sincere dedication to the activation of lighthouses for the Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society
and devoted service as one of the original members of the dynamic duo known as the Cape Crusaders,
the lovely plaque seen below was presented recently to Don Tanguay N1DT by members of the Marconi Radio Club / W1AA.
Several years ago, Don got together with his close friend Bob Doherty/K1VV, and set about activating as many regional lighthouses
as they could. Along the way they gathered a faithful following to their Saturday outings and earned themselves the name
The Cape Crusaders. I'm sure we speak for all the members of the A.R.L.H.S. in congratulating Don on a job well done.
